taiwan 2008

i start my photoblog on my recent visit to taiwan. the trip is great!. i go for a holiday, staying in taiwan 6 days. the weather is great. temperature around 8°C to 16°C.

day01: here is my first day at taiwan. as you might know, following a tour agency to travel is like chasing time. most of the time is in the tour bus and they allow only small amount of time to visiting the landmarks. the place i visit on my first day is National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall (Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall), National Concert Hall (國家戲劇院), Martyrs Shrine, Taipei 101 and Feng Chia Night Market (逢甲夜市).

day02: on the second day, i have visited sun moon lake (日月潭), wenwu temple (文武廟) , mau’s house, betelnut girl (檳榔西施), Miramar Entertainment Park : Ferris Wheel.

day03: on the third day, i have visited yeliou (野柳) scenic area, queen head rock, jiufen (九份), chen mei-ling rose garden, shilin night market (士林夜市), xi men ding (西门町).

day04: on the fourth day, i visited some place. i didn’t catch the name of the places. lastly, i end up in shangrila leisure village. we have a competition, who’s top spin the longest. i’m second place and win some souvenir prices. we spend the night with making “tong yuen”, writing down wishes on the lantern and let it fly up to the sky and playing fireworks.

day05: tired!. we left shangrila farm village and going some night market while the sun is on top of us. we quickly go back to the hotel in xi men ding (西门町) and spend all our money because we are going home tomorrow.
